(Press Release)BSPI will support Web 3.0 activities such as SBT distribution and voting by governor’s token at the LDP Youth Bureau’s training session.

The Liberal Democratic Party of Japan (LDP) usually holds a conference and workshop in May for youth directors and directors of youth bureaus of local LDP chapters and student club members. On the 27th, Secretary General Toshimitsu Mogi and external lecturers will give lectures, and on the 28th, Ambassador Korsunsky, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Japan, will give a speech. Also on the 28th, as in the previous year, SBT (Soulbound Token/NFT) will be distributed, and new initiatives are planned, such as voting for the policy presentation contest by the student section of each branch federation using governance tokens, and participating in a Discord for student section members only using SBT.

Our company, BSPI, together with IndieSquare Inc., is supporting the LDP Youth Bureau in a series of Web 3.0 initiatives for the workshop to be held on the 28th.

Last May, at the same workshop, we distributed SBTs to university students who participated in the workshop as proof of participation, using IndieSquare’s web3 platform “HAZAMA BASE”. This year, we are planning to implement the following Web 3.0 initiatives in addition to the SBT, in order to enhance the power of this year’s Web 3 initiative.

(1)Distribute SBTs to workshop attendees

(2)Distribute governance tokens to workshop attendees

(3)Voting for participating teams in the policy presentation contest

(4)Change the SBTs of the winning team members to special SBTs using the Burn to Redeem function

(5)SBTs will be distributed to students who were unable to attend the workshop (for Discord participation).

(6)Open a Discord for university students who belong to the LDP Youth Bureau as a place to communicate with each other.

(7) University students participate in the Discord and interact with each other using a series of SBTs.

The picture of penguins used as a motif in the SBT was drawn by Hideto Kawasaki, a member of the LDP Web3PT and deputy director of the LDP Youth Bureau’s Groups and Students Department, using AI.

A media briefing was held today on this initiative together with the LDP Youth Bureau and IndieSquare Inc.
