BSPI supported the visit of Taiwan FinTech Association to Japan by Mr. Masaaki Taira, Member of the House of Representatives, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Financial Services Agency, Digital Agency, etc.

From July 24 to 26, a delegation from the Taiwan FinTech Association (Chairwoman: Mrs. Jaclyn Tsai, hereinafter referred to as TFTA) visited Japan. During their visit, the TFTA members visited the Chairperson of the LDP Web3PT, Mr. Masaaki Taira, a member of the House of Representatives, the Web3.0 Policy Promotion Office of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, the FinTech Counselor’s Office of the Policy Bureau of the Financial Services Agency, the Digital Society Common Function Group of the Digital Agency, and Zelo, a law firm. BSPI supported this visit.

In Taiwan, the legislation on crypto asset exchanges has reached a climax and, as in Japan, the self-regulatory organization is being developed. The TFTA members visited the Web3 Policy offices in order to learn about Japan’s leading practices, and were very pleased with the warm reception and detailed discussions from the Japanese authorities, which are ahead of the Japanese authorities in the Web3 Policy. BSPI will continue to contribute to the development of the Web3 and blockchain industry as a supporter and bridge-builder.
